LBPD Blotter - July 21, 2024

Stabbing- 1700 block of East Anaheim Street- On July 20, 2024 at approximately 10:44 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of East Anaheim Street regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the upper body. Long Beach Fire Department personnel transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition. The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and a male adult suspect were involved in a verbal dispute, which escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers' arrival. Suspect information is under investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
