Next Repair Café Event Scheduled for October 12

We are excited to partner with Repair Café of North Carolina for another event to help you bring life to some items you may have around your home!

Bring your "broken but beloved" items and learn the "art of the fix" with a Repair Coach at this free workshop! Repair Coaches can work with you on electrical and non-electrical appliances, furniture, jewelry, toys and more.

The event will be at the Holton Career and Resource Center (401 N. Driver St.) October 12 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event is free but registration is required.

This event is in association with our Reuse Hub Project, promoting transformative and sustainable solutions to waste management that address racial and economic disparities and promote environmental justice. This reuse hub can help feed back into our local economy by lowering the amount of waste sent to a landfill, allowing local businesses to capitalize on reusable material, and creating local jobs and training opportunities for our residents.
