One of the last Weekenders of 2024 already? Better make this one count, BU. Get out and explore the city in all its seasonal festivities before final exams get the best of all of us. But be sure to bundle up-winter weather is well on its way. Maybe stop for hot cocoa?
Laugh away some of your study stress at an original sketch comedy and improv show performed by BU's resident goofballs. Founded in 2009, the Callbacks is an undergrad comedy troupe that does live and video performances all over campus and Greater Boston. Don't miss a brand-new show of fresh material and screwball fun.

It's the most wonderful time of the year again. With the official start of Christmastime in the city, the annual tree-lighting celebration in Seaport is back this weekend. Enjoy holiday songs and winter cheer as a giant Christmas tree gets ceremoniously dressed in ornaments and twinkling lights.
Friday, December 6, 6 to 9pm, Seaport Common, 85 Northern Ave; the tree lighting is at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
Age really is just a number. No matter how old you are, there's no crime in visiting Santa Claus on one of the many stops on his holiday tour outside the North Pole. His little corner of the Prudential Center is all dressed up like a festive Bostonian brownstone, picturesque and perfect for getting in the holiday spirit amid finals anticipation.

Grab the espresso: Trident Booksellers & Cafe is hosting a festive citywide pajama party for all Sabrina Carpenter fans, in honor of the pop megastar's new Netflix holiday special. The night will feature classic slumber party games, drinks, and a screening of A Nonsense Christmas to close out the event.
