L.A. Area Chamber Urges Deeper Analysis of Tourism Wage Ordinance Economic Impact

by L.A. Area Chamber

LOS ANGELES, CA - September 20, 2024 - The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, leading the Alliance for Economic Fairness, issued Economic Study on the proposed Living Wage Ordinance for L.A. tourism workers:

"The study falls short of providing a meaningful evaluation of the impact on the City of Los Angeles and small businesses. The L.A. Area Chamber and the Alliance for Economic Fairness urge the City Council to conduct a more thorough analysis, with input from the business community, to address these critical concerns," said Maria S. Salinas, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
