WASHINGTON - Marisa Calderon, President and CEO of Prosperity Now issued the following statement after the announcement by President Biden's to not seek reelection.

"President Biden came into office at a time of deep economic insecurity for many Americans. The pandemic had done untold damage to the nation's job market and created the threat of greater systemic inequity and a potentially larger wealth gap between different communities. His record to date though tells a different story. With the longest stretch of job growth America has ever seen, his policies helped put the nation back to work. We are inspired by his record of success in the White House, and look forward to continuing to work with his Administration throughout the remainder of his term to advance sound and equitable economic policy that works for every American."
