Philadelphia Water Department to Close Market Street Ramp to I-95 South for Sewer Improvements in Philadelphia

​King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Philadelphia Water Department will be performing sewer improvements on the Market Street Ramp to Interstate 95 South, Philadelphia, beginning Monday, September 9.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, September 9, through Sunday, September 22, a 24/7 closure is scheduled on the Market Street Ramp to I-95 South. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use southbound Columbus Boulevard and the Morris Street Ramp to I-95 South.
  

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
