The Mission Viejo City Council is seeking applications from residents interested in filling vacancies on the City's Planning and Transportation Commission; Community Services Commission; and Investment Advisory Commission.
The Commissions are comprised of five members appointed by the City Council, except for the Community Services Commission, which has seven members (including two senior citizen members). Council Members will make their appointments at the January 14 meeting.
Mission Viejo residents interested in applying for a seat are encouraged to file a brief application form with the City Clerk's Office by 5 pm Friday, January 3.
Applicants must be at least 18 and reside in Mission Viejo. In addition, applicants for the Investment Advisory Commission should have the following qualifications: (1) banker, vice-president level or above; (2) investment banker, vice-president level or above; (3) financial planner; (4) corporate chief financial officer or treasurer; (5) registered investment adviser; or other experience.
