Investigation Update: Arrest Made in Amory Terrace Homicide

Investigation Update: At about 2:20 PM, on Friday, August 30, 2024, members of the Fugitive Unit arrested Jordan Albert-Scott, 33, of Mattapan, in the area of 182 Dudley Street. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a Murder warrant issued out of Roxbury District Court for the murder of Daniel Coke, 45, of Jamaica Plain. Albert-Scott is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 4:42 AM on Sunday, August 4, 2024, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to the area of 10 Amory Terrace for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The male victim was later pronounced deceased. The male victim has since been identified as Daniel Coke, 45, of Jamaica Plain.
