The Fargo Police Department Responds to a Medical Emergency for a Three-Month-Old Infant on Tuesday, May 7

Live-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the infant was pronounced deceased

On Tuesday, May 7, at approximately 5 a.m., The Fargo Police Department (FPD) responded to a medical emergency in the 3300 block of 17th Ave. S. When officers arrived, a three-month-old infant was found not breathing and not responsive. Live-saving efforts were administered on scene but were unsuccessful. The child was pronounced deceased.

Initial investigations have found no immediate signs of suspicious activity or foul play. The FPD is collaborating with medical authorities to conduct a thorough examination, including an autopsy, to determine the cause of death.
