Update: E-Scooter Dies Following Collision In Harehills, Leeds

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses following the death of a man involved in a collision on an e-scooter in Leeds.

The Major Collision and Enquiry Team ( MCET) would like to speak to anyone who has information about a collision at the junction of Harehills Avenue and Harehills Lane on July 7, which has sadly resulted in the death of Kevin Bishop (44).

Mr Bishop (pictured) passed away earlier today from injuries sustained in the collision which took place at about 6.05pm on July 7.

Anyone who saw the incident, has footage of it or any information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact MCET on 101 referencing police number 13240366458.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving an e-scooter in the Harehills area of Leeds.

The collision happened at the junction of Harehills Avenue and Harehills Lane, Leeds, at 6:13pm last night (Sunday, 7 July).

The e-scooter rider suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently in hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the vehicle involved prior to the collision, or who has any relevant dash cam footage, is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit via Live Chat online or by calling 101, quoting log 1468 of 7 July.
