Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is carefully monitoring Hurricane Milton for impacts on Camden County.
Precautionary Measures: Residents are urged to take immediate steps to prepare for tropical activity and rapidly changing conditions. Secure outdoor items, stock up on essential supplies, and ensure you have a plan in place.

Emergency Notifications: Sign up for the CodeRED Emergency Notification System to receive direct updates from Camden County EMA. Visit camdencountyga.gov/CodeRED or text "CamdenCodeRED" to 99411. TDD/TTY service is available.

Sandbags
Sand is available at four different self-service site throughout Camden County. Some of these sites also have a limited number of sandbags available. Please click on the map to open a larger version. Bring your shovel for all sites.
Camden County
Camden County will have sand and a limited number of sandbags available for self-service at the Facilities Maintenance Building located at 1144 Godley Avenue in Woodbine. Residents should bring their own shovels.
Kingsland
The City of Kingsland will have sand and a limited number of sandbags available at 132 Royal Parkway in Kingsland. Residents should bring shovels for this self-service site, open Monday-Wednesday, October 7-9, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
St. Marys
The City of St. Marys will have sand and sandbags available for self-service at the Public Works Facility located at 819 Point Peter Road in St. Marys. This site is open from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8, 2024.
Woodbine
The City of Woodbine will have sand and a limited number of sandbags available at the Public Works Department located at 1714 Bedell Avenue in Woodbine.
