City Hosts "Build St. Pete" Trade Show for Local Construction Businesses

August 1, 2024 - The City of St. Petersburg invites local construction companies to attend the first-ever "Build St. Pete" Construction Trade Show on Tuesday, August 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Coliseum (535 4th Ave. N).

The focus of the trade show will be to connect small construction businesses with resources and contracting opportunities in the St. Pete area. At this free event, businesses of all sizes will be able to showcase their services, meet buyers from multiple agencies, network with industry leaders, and gain potential partners. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a matchmaking experience with businesses and local agencies and attend a panel about achieving success in construction, moderated by Carl Lavender, the City's Chief Equity Officer.

Sponsored by RIC-MAN Construction Florida, Inc., the event will be hosted by the City of St. Petersburg's Office of Supplier Diversity, which works to provide fair and equal business opportunities and equity in contracts for local businesses that want to do business with the City of St. Petersburg.
