9th Grade Student Arrested For Making Threats On Instagram

A 9th grade RePublic High School student was arrested this afternoon by the Rapid School Safety Team following Instagram threats to both RePublic and Whites Creek High School in the last 24 hours. The 15-year-old was charged with making a threat of mass violence and false reporting.

Threats against schools, special events and businesses are taken very seriously by the MNPD. Those responsible, once identified, will be prosecuted.
