Despite high temperatures, SAG-AFTRA Arizona-Utah members beat the heat at the July 10 Coffee Connection under a cool misting canopy at Luci's at the Orchard in Phoenix. Industry guest Casting Director Bella Hibbs of Good Faith Casting talked to members about the upcoming Southwest Actors Conference and Expo, to which members receive a discount. Local President Amanda Melby shared information about the rescheduled audiobooks workshop with Sean Pratt coming up Sept. 19 and encouraged members to sign up here. Other members shared what they were working on. The informal gathering concluded with members making new contacts and catching up with old friends. The Phoenix Coffee Connection gathers on the second Wednesday of every month at Luci's at the Orchard. RSVP here for August's.
