UPDATE: Police presence in the town of Fenton

UPDATE 4:10 p.m.: The person suffering the mental health crisis has been taken into custody without incident, no harm to the person or to any law enforcement. The area should be clearing out shortly.

New York State Police are at a residence at 450 State Route 369 in the town of Fenton.

Investigators are talking to the person inside a home suffering from a mental health crisis.

There is no threat to the public.
