Join the Celebration of National Night Out in Palmdale on August 6

PALMDALE, CA - The City of Palmdale invites residents to come together to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Domenic Massari Park, located at 37716 55th St. East.

"National Night Out is an annual crime prevention awareness campaign designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and foster law enforcement-community partnerships," said Mayor Austin Bishop. "The event sends a clear message that the City is committed to fighting crime and providing resources that unite our community in this mission."

This free, family-friendly event will offer a range of activities for all ages, including giveaways and games. Attendees will have the opportunity to view public safety displays from first responders and interact with local law enforcement officers. Partners from multiple organizations serving the Antelope Valley will be there to share information about their programs with the community. Food will be available for purchase from multiple food vendors throughout the evening.

The City is proud to partner with local law enforcement agencies to bring this event to our community. Participating agencies include the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol.

"National Night Out is a fantastic opportunity for our residents to unite, meet their local first responders and join the effort to keep our neighborhoods safe," said Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. "This event not only sends a clear message to our residents that the City cares deeply for their safety, but also to the criminals that our neighborhoods are organized and vigilant. We do not tolerate illegal activities in our City, and the City will prosecute all crime."

Parking for the event is limited, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early and consider carpooling and rideshare options. Please leave pets at home.
