General Election Early Voting Begins Oct. 15

NEWTON COUNTY, GA - Advance In-Person voting for the General Election in Newton County begins Oct. 15.

There are three locations for registered voters to cast their ballot early: Town Precinct at Turner Lake Recreation Center, 6185 Turner Lake Rd NW, Covington Mills Precinct at LifePointe Church of Nazarene, 5133 Jackson Hwy and Downs Precinct at Prospect Church at Oak Hill, 6752 Hwy 212.

Advance voting will be held Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 through Oct. 31 at all three locations. Turner Lake will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1

The first day of advanced voting is on a Tuesday this year due to Oct. 14 being a federal holiday.

There will also be two opportunities to vote advance in-person on Saturdays, Oct. 19 and Oct. 26 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and one Sunday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Turner Lake.
