ST. CROIX FALLS, Wisconsin: Join the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and Wild Rivers Conservancy at the River Rendezvous at Osceola Landing on Saturday, May 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. This event is part of the Village of Osceola's River Rendezvous celebration and will include a short program at the plaza near the comfort station at 11 am. After the program, a day of river-themed interactive fun for all ages will feature activities on fishing techniques, kayak safety, an educational scavenger hunt, seeing NPS law enforcement and maintenance motorboats and associated gear, and more.

"We look forward to celebrating the St. Croix River with you at Osceola Landing and highlighting our new interpretive signage that celebrates the river's protection. Bring a picnic to enjoy at Osceola Landing and spend the day learning about and experiencing the St. Croix River." said Superintendent Craig Hansen.

Osceola Landing is located immediately across the St. Croix River from Osceola, Wisconsin, on Highway 243 in Chisago County, Minnesota. The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, a unit of the National Park System, was established by the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act in 1968. It is one of a group of eight rivers in the country which first received this recognition. For 255 miles, the St. Croix and its tributary, the Namekagon, flow through some of the most scenic and least developed country in the Upper Midwest.
