Baotou Chemical Surpassed Quarterly Production Target

As of September 30, Baotou Chemical had produced 183,190 tonnes of polyolefin products in the third quarter, surpassing its quarterly production target.

Baotou Chemical responded to challenges regarding high temperatures and frequent rainfalls by coordinating production activities with all-round efforts, including key equipment maintenance on schedule, gasifier burners replacement, the distillation system commissioning, and production transition between polyethylene and polypropylene. The company maximized production efficiency by coordinating upstream and downstream devices and controlling key indicators like equipment load and qualification rate of product quality. In addition, the company reinforced equipment patrol inspection system, strengthened equipment routine maintenance, monitored equipment operation performance, analyzed parameters and deviations, and addressed any issues caused by the devices swiftly, ensuring a solid foundation for safe production. Baotou Chemical enhanced the work management and control by reinforcing the management of external contractors, focusing on contractor qualification reviews, safety training assessments, full-process supervision over operation, and performance evaluations. It also improved safe production and risk prevention awareness among maintenance workers and reduced safety risks to promote efficient production with high-quality safety. The company conducted safety & skills training and emergency evacuations and fire drills for working teams, raising workers' safety responsibilities and awareness in production, as well as operational capabilities, to ensure a safe, stable, and orderly production environment.

In addition, management personnel at all levels within Baotou Chemical adhered strictly to shift-following, shift-leading, and on-duty systems, increasing the frequency and quality of on-field inspections. Efforts were also made to strengthen on-site safety management & control and safety detail management, ensuring that all potential flaws and risks shall be identified and monitored to inject new impetus to the achievement of the company's annual safety and production goals.
