President Kimo Ah Yun has named a search committee to identify the next permanent provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. The committee, which comprises faculty, staff, a member of the Society of Jesus, a dean, a vice president and a trustee, will be chaired by Dr. SuJean Choi, professor of biomedical sciences in the College of Health Sciences.
The search committee will conduct a national search for the next permanent provost, who oversees all aspects of the university's academic mission, including cultivating a learning experience that challenges and engages students while inspiring faculty research, scholarship and service.

The search committee will be assisted by search firm Isaacson, Miller, to ensure a strong pool of candidates.
