NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF CADILLAC PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that public hearings will be held in the Council Chambers, Cadillac Municipal Complex, 200 N Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan, on September 23, 2024, at ­­­­6:00 p.m., at a meeting of the City of Cadillac Planning Commission.

At this meeting, the Planning Commission will consider and hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to amend the City's Zoning Ordinance to regulate utility-scale battery energy storage systems. The proposed ordinance would permit utility-scale battery energy storage systems as special land uses in the General Industrial Zoning District. The proposed ordinance is available for examination at the office of the City Clerk and copies may be provided at a reasonable charge.

At this meeting, the Planning Commission will consider and hold a public hearing on a proposed ordinance that would redefine "bed and breakfast" and add bed and breakfast as a special land use permitted in the RM-1 and RM-2 zoning districts. The proposed ordinance is available for examination at the office of the City Clerk and copies may be provided at a reasonable charge.

The Planning Commission is receiving written comments concerning the proposed ordinance at the City Hall, 200 N Lake Street, Cadillac, Michigan. Comments must be received by the City prior to the start of the public hearing on September 23, 2024, at ­­­­6:00 p.m.
