Resurfacing Project on Hayward Road to Begin July 31

The City of Frederick's Department of Public Works announces that M. T. Laney, under the direction of the Department of Public Works, will be resurfacing Hayward Road from Thomas Johnson Drive to Arrowhead Drive.

The resurfacing project is set to begin on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, and is anticipated to be completed by Aug. 21, 2024.

During the project, residents and commuters should expect reduced travel lanes and dusty conditions. The Department of Public Works advises motorists to plan for potential delays and to exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
