Hearst Networks UK Earns Great Place To Work Certification for 3rd Year in a Row

London, 30th September 2024 - Hearst Networks UK is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the 3rd year in a row. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Hearst Networks UK. This year, 80% of its UK-based employees said it's a great place to work.

Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviour, proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

In addition to the Great Place to Work certification, Hearst Networks UK received two new accreditations for its UK market: Best Workplace for Women and Best Workplace in Media.

Dean Possenniskie, Managing Director UK and EMEA at Hearst Networks EMEA says: "We are proud to become Great Place To Work-Certified™ once again and to be certified as one of the top companies in the UK for women to work in. With fair treatment and inclusion at the very top of our GPTW scores across the company, I am proud of the positive culture we have created and continue to grow at Hearst Networks UK."

"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasises that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. "By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Hearst Networks UK stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."

Lucy King, Vice President of People and Culture at Hearst Networks UK, adds: "The Great Place to Work-Certified™ badge we have earned will help us to continue strengthening our employer brand and recruit top talent to join our great business. The two new accreditations solidify our commitment to building the best environment for our staff."

According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company's profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
