SCDOT closes lane on I-26 Eastbound in Dorchester County for emergency repairs

​Columbia, S.C. (November 21, 2024)- The South Carolina Department of Transportation has temporarily closed the right lane of I-26 eastbound at mile marker 177 for emergency repairs.

SCDOT crews are on the scene and will expedite repairs in order to reopen the road. At this time, we do not have a timeline for the repairs but will have more information to share as it becomes available. A map of the impacted area can be found below.

SCDOT encourages drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews as they work to get the lane reopened.
