"I'm grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working more closely with all my colleagues at the PCMS to address some of the current challenges we are facing in health care, I am especially interested in focusing on how we can communicate better across the whole health care system. I also want to address important issues such as the high cost of prescription drugs, mental health parity, prior authorization, and the administrative work overload," said Dr. Domenick Bucci, vice president of Medical Management and Medical Policy at Independence Blue Cross.

Dr. Bucci is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine and completed his medical residency at St. Francis Medical Center (now Capital Health).
