(Washington, DC) - On Friday, November 22 at 12 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by DowntownDC BID and District officials, performers, and community members to open the DowntownDC Holiday Market. Now in its 20th year, the DowntownDC Holiday Market will house more than 70 small and local businesses on F Street NW between 7th and 9th Streets NW. The market opens on Friday, November 22 and will run through Monday, December 23. This holiday season, Mayor Bowser encourages residents, workers, and visitors to support DC businesses by shopping locally and patronizing DC restaurants and businesses.
Residents and visitors can also enjoy other festive holiday events in Downtown DC, including Frosted at Franklin Park, which will be activated from November 22 to December 21, as well as the National Mistletoe activation at 8th and K Streets NW across from Carnegie Library, which will launch later this month.
