Do you bike on campus? Share your perspective!
With generous funding support from the Alaska Parks Foundation, UAA has applied for the Bicycle Friendly University (BFU) designation from the League of American Bicyclists (LAB). The BFU program evaluates applicants' efforts to promote bicycling in five primary areas:
- engineering
- encouragement
- education
- enforcement
- evaluation/planning
LAB would like to hear from all students, alumni, employees and community members about their experiences bicycling on campus, and their perspective of UAA's efforts to encourage, promote and accommodate bicycling. UAA will use the results of our application to determine ways we can improve our bicycling infrastructure and other supports.
Survey responses will be shared anonymously with LAB. Please share your experience of UAA's current bicycle programs, facilities and amenities by participating in this brief survey by Thursday, Oct. 10.
