League of Women Voters' Forum: How to Effectively Communicate & Be Heard in Public Meetings

The League of Women Voters' Civil Discourse Committee invites you for an in-person forum on Monday, October 21st from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Morro Bay Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way, Morro Bay, to learn how public meetings are run and how you can contribute and make your voice heard. Get tips on listening and speaking skills that can make you a more effective communicator.

The goal of the Civil Discourse Committee is to restore public trust in institutions and leaders by encouraging respectful interactions at public forums and by engaging in mutually respectful, courteous, and orderly communication. Working together we can make it happen.

This forum is free and open to the public. Registration is suggested in order to receive event reminders but is not required.
