CITY BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

Every year, the City of Sun Prairie works on a budget that funds services and projects, from public safety and road maintenance to parks and community programs. The city budget outlines how resources will be allocated to meet community needs, setting priorities and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used effectively.

Current Budget Discussions and Public Input

Common Council is in the process of discussing the city budget, reviewing proposed funding, and considering community priorities. This process will include a public hearing on the city budget scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, at 5:30 PM. This is an opportunity for community members to share their thoughts on budget priorities and allocations. The public hearing will take place on the second floor of City Hall in Council Chambers, located at 300 East Main St.

During a public hearing, residents can speak directly to council members, share their views, and have a voice in the budgeting process. Community members are encouraged to participate, as your input is valuable in shaping our community's future.
