Chamber's Devon O'Reilly Recognized Among WJR and Detroit Economic Club's 2024 Class of Rising Stars

Congratulations to Devon O'Reilly, the Detroit Regional Chamber's Senior Director of Community Engagement and Leadership Development, who was recognized among WJR and the Detroit Economic Club's 2024 class of Rising Stars. This year's class of Rising Stars honors 20 local leaders who are making an impact in their industries, communities, and families.

As Senior Director of Community Engagement and Leadership Development, O'Reilly has played a pivotal role in various community and leadership initiatives, notably leading the Chamber's NeighborHUB program that has awarded $2.2 million in grants to diverse nonprofits and small businesses. Additionally, O'Reilly has played a crucial role in forming knowledgeable leaders in the Detroit community, tackling impactful leadership programs like Leadership Detroit, Mackinac Future Leaders, and the Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program.

All of this year's Rising Stars will be honored on Wednesday, Sept. 18, during a live broadcast on WJR.

O'Reilly spoke with WJR's Chris Renwick about his recognition as one of this year's Rising Stars and how he is revitalizing the Detroit community.
