Media Advisory for August 26, 2024

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), along with government and community partners, will hold an announcement on significant milestones for the Adirondack Rail Trail.

When: Monday, Aug. 26, 11:30 a.m.

Where: Adirondack Rail Trail Junction at Little Green Pond Road 44°21'14.5"N 74°17'31.8"W

Directions: Event location is off of Route 30 in Saranac Lake, follow Fish Hatchery Road to gravel road pull-off labeled Little Green Pond Road on street sign. Additional parking available at Station Road or Little Clear Pond Boat Launch Parking Area.

Additional Photo Opportunity: After announcement, attendees are welcome to join DECfor a bike ride on a newly opened portion of the trail. Please bring your own bike if participating.
