Stabbing Investigation Underway

On July 20, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m. the Rockville City Police Department responded to an assault in the area of Dawson Ave. and Upton St. First arriving officers found a large crowd and blood evidence on the scene. Officers obtained information that a stabbing had occurred. A short time later, four adult victims arrived at an area hospital suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. RCPD detectives have identified a person of interest in connection with the stabbings and are working to locate that person for questioning.
