Negotiations continue with CN

This week, with the assistance of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services, Unifor Local 100 met with the employer to continue negotiating on key language proposals.

Negotiations are ongoing, with both parties engaged in thorough discussions to work through the key language issues at the table. While there is still significant work to be done, our focus remains on continuing discussions and ensuring that the final agreement addresses the needs of our membership.

As negotiations continue, we want to remind all members that Local 100 and Council 4000 will be in a strike or lockout position as of January 1, 2025.

Bargaining will reconvene the week of December 2 to 6 for Local 100 and November 11 to 15 for Council 4000.

The next few weeks are critical, and we encourage all members to stay informed and connected.

Remember, the employer's updates may not always reflect the full picture, so rely on union channels for accurate information.

We will continue to provide updates on unifor.org/cnbargaining2024.

In solidarity,

Local 100 CN Master Bargaining Committees
