TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime Lane Reductions on Route 60 in Newton Co. for Pavement Repair Aug. 25-28

Where: U.S. Route 60 at Newton County Route M/W east of Granby

When: 9 p.m.-9 a.m., Sunday, August 25-Wednesday, August 28

What: Contractor crews repairing concrete pavement

Traffic Impact:

• Newton County Routes M & W CLOSED at Route 60
• Route 60 reduced to one lane at Routes M & W
• Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone
• Work will be done during nighttime hours (9 p.m.-9 a.m.); all lanes open to traffic during daytime hours
• No signed detour
• Drivers should find alternate routes
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling delays could alter the work schedule.

This is part of a project to make pavement repairs along U.S. Route 60 and Missouri Route 59 in Newton County.
