CABEI’s support strengthens capacities of women investors in El Salvador

San Salvador, November 13, 2024. Strengthening women's economic autonomy is one of the objectives of the event "Women, we control our finances," sponsored by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and organized by the El Salvador Stock Exchange and the Bursátil Foundation.

This event seeks to promote women's participation in the investment sector, providing specialized knowledge and useful tools to improve decision-making and strengthen women's financial wellbeing. Specialists in women's empowerment and financial and stock market issues shared their experience on the first steps and previous knowledge to invest appropriately and opportunely.

With the celebration of this event, the Virtual Training Program "Strategy to become a successful investor" begins, which consists of 3 modules designed to deepen the knowledge about the stock market, the characteristics, and the investment options' benefits.

At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to do business and make investments with authorized and regulated entities, thus promoting their financial independence.

CABEI contributes to this important effort as part of its commitment to female empowerment and the promotion of the economic autonomy of women, who represent an engine of the Salvadoran economy.
