Details

The Department for Education has commissioned the Office of the Children's Commissioner to conduct interviews with children who have been deprived of their liberty, their parents and professionals that support them.

The interviews provide insights into their experiences, and how the systems around them could be improved to ensure better outcomes.

This research is published on the Office of the Children's Commissioner's website.

Keeping children safe, helping families thrive provides further details on our plans to help the system deliver the specialist care and accommodation these children need.
