Pinellas County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk's Office, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections. The Clerk's Office and Tax Collector will also be closed on Friday, July 5.
County parks and the outdoor areas of the County preserves will be open. Parks Admin, Heritage Village, and Brooker and Weedon Education Centers will be closed. Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open.
Pinellas County Human Services office locations will be closed.
Pinellas County Building Services office locations will be closed, and inspections will not be taking place.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.
The Pinellas County Contractor Licensing Department/PCCLB will be closed.
The Business and Customer Services Call Center and the lobby at 14 S. Fort Harrison will be closed. Customers can make payments online and can reach the answering service at (727) 464-4000 for emergencies.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session Thursday or Friday except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Disposal Complex will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday. The Administration Building, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center and Swap Shop will be closed.
Normal county operating hours will resume on Friday, July 5. The Clerk's Office and Tax Collector will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 8.
