Three Neighboring GOP Governors Pull Their Support for Robinson in North Carolina Governor's Race
After a bombshell report from CNN revealed that Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson has a long history of making disgusting and disturbing comments online, including calling himself a "black NAZI" and advocating for the return of slavery because he "would certainly buy a few," the Republican governors in three of the four states that border North Carolina are pulling their support for Robinson.
"Even GOP governors in neighboring states like Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina, that have passed extreme abortion bans, are unendorsing Mark Robinson because they believe he is too disturbing and dangerous to be governor," said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. "As Robinson refuses to explain himself, this only adds more pressure on Republicans in North Carolina to speak out."
