Prime Minister Golob: 'Sport is a way to express yourself and show us what you're capable of every day'

In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister reflected on his visit to the Paralympic Games in Paris, stating that his meeting with the Para athletes and attending the opening ceremony had made a lasting impression on him.

"Sport is a way to express yourself and show us what you're capable of every day," the Prime Minister said, adding that the mind is our only real limitation. "I want everyone to look to you for inspiration. You have shown us that there truly are no limits, as you overcome every obstacle with the power of your mind," said the Prime Minister.

He added that the opening ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games moved him deeply. "It was a profound inspiration for what truly matters in life. Beyond the success and medals, you are sending us a message about what really counts and what we should look forward to each day. You show us where to find the true opportunities for victory within ourselves," concluded Prime Minister Golob.
