Man Recovered From Cumberland River September 16 Identified

The man recovered from the Cumberland River on September 16 near 1st Avenue North has been positively identified as Craig Martin Evans, 54, of Niceville, Florida. Evans was not reported missing and has no documented history in Davidson County.

The preliminary autopsy did not show any obvious signs of foul play. The Medical Examiner's Office will work to determine Evans' cause of death.
