Deezer invites you to explore Paris through music this summer

With an interactive map showcasing 10 iconic venues, Deezer has created a musical journey through Paris, complete with fun facts and curated playlists.

Paris, 24.07.2024: Paris, the city of love, is a hub of culture and music, with a rich musical heritage and a vibrant contemporary music scene.

This summer, Deezer, the global music experiences platform, invites everyone to discover Paris through music. Thanks to the interactive Paris Live map pinpointing 10 iconic live music venues around the city, visitors and locals alike can discover the city's musical past and present, starting July 26th.

To amplify the Paris Live experience, Deezer has created 10 unique playlists, letting explorers discover a dedicated mix of songs for each location. From French electro classics to jazz standards and international anthems, these curated soundtracks capture the spirit of the venues. With Deezer's Paris Live map as a guide, the music scene of Paris can be explored like never before.

The Paris Live map includes landmarks such as L'Olympia, the city's oldest operating music hall that has hosted legends like Edith Piaf and The Beatles, as well as The Rex Club, the Parisian pioneer of electronic music. Deezer's genre-spanning city guide also points to the historic Caveau de la Huchette jazz cellar, Philharmonie de Paris and Machine du Moulin Rouge, where The Who and David Bowie once graced the stage. In addition, Deezer invites music fans to enjoy the summer at Paris Plages (Paris Beaches), which is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to test their musical knowledge at the Deezer Music Quiz booth*. The interactive map and curated playlists will be available starting July 26th, 2024, providing a unique and engaging way to explore Paris's musical soul this summer.

Deezer's Paris Live map will also be on physical display in the Paris Media Centre in Carreau du Temple, as the City of Paris welcomes thousands of journalists this summer. The installation will include a QR code for easy access to the interactive map.
