MoDOT to close one southbound and northbound lane of Route 21 starting Sept. 23

JEFFERSON COUNTY- Motorists can expect delays starting Monday, September 23 on Route 21 in Jefferson County while crews complete a barrier wall repair.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the left lane in both the northbound and southbound direction on Route 21 just south of Route 141 to repair a piece of damaged barrier wall.

The work will begin Monday after morning rush hour and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 2. The left lane in both directions will remain closed throughout the duration of this time.

Once the barrier wall repair is completed, crews will be able to place new asphalt adjacent to this median barrier wall. This work is a part of our Route 21 pavement resurfacing project in Jefferson County.
