CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2024) - Charlotte County Community Services has reopened some boat ramps. Three boat ramps remain closed due to extensive damage and unseen hazards caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Open boat ramps:

  • Ainger Creek Park
  • Butterford Waterway Park
  • Darst Park
  • El Jobean Boat Ramp
  • Harbour Heights Park
  • Placida Park
  • Spring Lake Park

Closed boat ramps:

  • Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Park
  • Port Charlotte Beach Park
  • South Gulf Cove Park

The Spring Lake Park boat ramp will close Nov. 11, 2024, for a previously scheduled repair project. The estimated timeline for the project is 60 days from commencement.
