Boat Ramps Status Update
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2024) - Charlotte County Community Services has reopened some boat ramps. Three boat ramps remain closed due to extensive damage and unseen hazards caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Open boat ramps:
- Ainger Creek Park
- Butterford Waterway Park
- Darst Park
- El Jobean Boat Ramp
- Harbour Heights Park
- Placida Park
- Spring Lake Park
Closed boat ramps:
- Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Park
- Port Charlotte Beach Park
- South Gulf Cove Park
The Spring Lake Park boat ramp will close Nov. 11, 2024, for a previously scheduled repair project. The estimated timeline for the project is 60 days from commencement.
