MALAYSIA CONDEMNS SUICIDE ATTACK IN QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN PROVINCE, PAKISTAN

Malaysia strongly condemns the recent suicide attack in Quetta, Balochistan province, Pakistan, on 9 November 2024, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives and injured many others.

Malaysia extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and expresses its solidarity with the people and Government of Pakistan during this difficult time.

Malaysia stands firm in its position that terrorism, in all its forms and manifestations, presents a threat not only to the stability of a country, but is also a direct challenge to the international community as a whole. Malaysia remains committed to working with the international community to combat terrorism and promote regional stability.

The High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad is closely monitoring the development. No Malaysians have been reported to have been affected by the incident.
