NCPD joins initiative to prevent train-related accidents
As part of See Tracks? Think Train Week, our traffic unit joined South Carolina Operation Lifesaver and Amtrak in Operation Clear Track. It's an initiative to prevent train-related incidents and save lives.
Every three hours in the United States, a person or vehicle is struck by a train, often causing death or serious injury. We'd like to ask you to please be sure to use caution and common sense when approaching a railroad crossing.
