SPRC Supports Royal Thai Navy Region 1 with Oil Spill Response Equipment, Enhancing Marine Pollution Prevention Capabilities On August 23, 2024, Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC), along with members of the Oil Industry Environmental Safety Group Association (IESG), delivered oil spill response equipment to the First Navy Area Command at its headquarters. Vice Admiral Surasak Singkhornwat, Commander of the First Navy Area Command, received the equipment. Mr. Opas Waiyasatja, representing SPRC, handed over 1,600 sheets of oil absorbent pads and 4 rolls of absorbent roll to support the First Navy Area Command operation in oil spill response and increase capability of Oil Spill Response. This contribution aims to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the First Navy Area Command in oil spill response operations, which will help protect the marine environment and build public confidence in the area.
