08/28/2024

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on eastbound King Street in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County, beginning Wednesday, September 4.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, eastbound King Street will closed and detoured weekdays between Route 100 and Shoemaker Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Berks Street, Route 663 (High Street), and Manatawny Street.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
