Independence Day Closures, Trash Delay

On Thursday, July 4, Flower Mound Town Hall, Municipal Court, Animal Adoption Center, Public Library, and Senior Center will close. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. Thursday's customers will be serviced on Friday, July 5, and Friday's customers will be serviced on Saturday, July 6.

The Community Activity Center (CAC) will operate on adjusted hours on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5. On Thursday, the CAC will open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the annual Stars & Stripes Splashtacular happening from 1 to 5 p.m. at the outdoor water park. If you're still looking for a place to watch fireworks this July 4, join us at Independence Fest 2024! From 5 to 10 p.m., enjoy live music from Texas rock band Time Thief, crowd favorite Le Freak, and headliner Pat Green! While you rock out to hours of live entertainment, you can also enjoy food trucks, vendor booths, a car show, kids' zone, and more, with fireworks starting at approximately 9:50 p.m. All of this is happening at Bakersfield Park (1201 Duncan Ln.).
