The Fargo Public Library will celebrate National Model Railroad Month by hosting "Train Days at the Library" at the downtown Main Library (101 4th St. N.) on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17.
Red River Modules Model Railroad Club members will display and demonstrate model trains in the Community Room from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Club members will be available to answer questions about the trains, the display and the hobby of modular railroading which combines modular trains and miniature scenery to make unique track configurations. This year will feature a unique LEGO train set on display. A special train-themed storytime is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Children's Area of the library. Kids are invited to create a train-themed craft throughout both days. All ages are welcome to participate. No pre-registration is required and all materials will be provided.
