Narrative Summary:

COMPLAINT:

On August 15, 2024, NFA's Business Conduct Committee (BCC) issued a Complaint against Trinity Trading Group LLC (Trinity Trading) an... d Bruce R. Schock (Schock). The Complaint charges Trinity Trading with failing to create and maintain required records; failing to distribute disclosure documents, account statements and certified annual reports to pool participants; and commingling of pool assets. The Complaint also charges Trinity Trading with permitting unregistered individuals to act as associated persons (APs) without being NFA Associates and failing to obtain NFA approval of individuals acting as forex APs.

Further, the Complaint charges Trinity Trading and Schock with failing to observe high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principle of trade; using promotional materials without the required discussion of risk of loss; and using video promotional materials without obtaining NFA's approval. Finally, the Complaint charges the firm and Schock with a failure to supervise.

DECISION:

On September 19, 2024, NFA's BCC issued a Decision, pursuant to a settlement offer, ordering Trinity Trading not to reapply for NFA membership or act or be listed as a principal of an NFA Member at any time in the future. The BCC's Decision also ordered Schock not to apply for NFA membership, reapply for NFA associate membership or act or be listed as a principal of an NFA Member at any time in the future.
